This is is Doll Splinter. She has a painted face and a wooden body. She has moveable arms and legs.She was given to me many years ago by someone called Jenny.

She has many friends and if you read this blog you can follow her adventures.Her best friend is called Egg O and he is, as his name suggests, very full of himself.

I am a teacher and I started this blog intending to write only for very young children. In the first few stories I used simple and straightforward language  but the more I wrote the more involved I became with the characters so now the stories are more detailed and suitable for children over seven.

I am also exploring my childhood through family photographs and memories of my toys in the 1950’s.
