At one o’clock the monkeys arrived,jumping and balancing.

At two o’clock the clowns rolled up,driving a crazy car.

At three o’clock the rabbits arrived,carrying a big box.

By half past three they had eaten all the biscuits.

At four o’clock Egg O shouted at the top of his voice:” I am going to give a lecture. You must all pay attention because I know what I’m talking about and some of you are very silly. Sit down and be quiet.”

And he glared at everyone with his googly eyes.

They all sat down ,except Doll Splinter, who had heard it all before. She sighed and closed her eyes.

Which meant that no-one was watching the peas,

except the rabbits ,

who had a box…
